Stunning Smiles Without the Sacrifice
Invisalign® is a teeth-straightening system that involves a series of removable, custom aligners that are made from smooth, clear, BPA-free plastic. The aligners slip over your teeth sort of like an extremely comfortable, thin mouthguard. As you work your way through the series, your teeth gradually and gently shift into place based on the exact movements Dr. Noorda or Dr. Okuda planned out for you. While Invisalign is fantastic, it is a tool and its success depends on the doctor who designs your treatment. At Okuda & Noorda Orthodontics, we have the expertise to achieve amazing results in cases ranging from mild to complex. To find out if you’re a candidate for Invisalign, schedule a complimentary consultation with our Henderson, NV orthodontist today online or by calling us at (702) 737-5500.
How Does Invisalign Work?
Using our iTero® scanner, we take digital impressions of your teeth and gums. A 3D rendering of your dental anatomy is created and Dr. Noorda or Dr. Okuda plans your treatment, mapping out each individual tooth movement directly on the model. Thanks to the Invisalign Outcome Simulator, we can even show you what your smile will look like at every stage of your treatment.
Invisalign creates custom aligners according to the doctor’s prescription, which ensures the perfect fit. The aligners are made in a series and each set is programmed to achieve specific movements by applying steady, gentle pressure to your teeth. Every time you change your aligners, your treatment progresses.
